Just in is this 2003 Autosleeper Pollensa five Berth Motorhome.
Based on the ever-popular Ford Transit chassis, the motorhome is driven via a semi-automatic gearbox (with additional steering wheel controls) to make those long journeys a doddle! The monocoque rear is a very desirable build style, meaning this motorhome has all of the attributes a desirable motorhome might have, and has covered 61,000 miles with its (only) two owners from new.
As we enter the rear of the motorhome, we have the end-kitchen area. The usual Autosleeper feel is present throughout the motorhome, with the fully stocked kitchen comprising of a full oven, hob and sink with a separate refrigerator (with freezer compartment) also present.
To the corner is where we find the washroom. A toilet, sink and vanity unit are on hand, with a separate shower-tap meaning there is no faffing around having to pull the sink-tap out for a shower.
Further forward is a lounge/dinette area. To one side is a large sofa, with plenty of room for 2 to relax in comfort and additional reading lights added above. Across the aisle is the dinette area, comprising of two opposing seats and a removable table between. The forward facing seats are where the two rear-seatbelts are held. This whole area converts to a double and single bed to create the first two sleeping areas of the motorhome. Plenty of natural light and a feeling of space is provided by the large windows to either side.
Finally, we come to the cab area. A large double bed above (accessed via a removable ladder) completes the sleeping arrangements of the motorhome. The bed also raises up to provide additional headroom below. The cab area itself is finished in the same sand and green upholstery of the rest of the motorhome, with two very comfortable driving seats and a pair of armrests each. There is a CD player with USB and Auxiliary input on hand to provide the entertainment. Electric windows are also present, with a traction control system on hand to keep the motorhome moving forwards. The cab area also benefits from air-conditioning; a very rare optional extra on these vans.
A lovely motorhome, with just two owners from new, which has been exceptionally well kept throughout its life.
