Elddis Crusader Super Storm
Now available is this fantastic 2011 Elddis Crusader Super Storm ’35th Anniversary’. A versatile model, it can be arranged as a luxurious-two berth, a spacious-four berth or a family-sized six berth, with an abundance of space however it is set out.
As you can see, from the outside the Elddis carries the usual kerb-appeal of this great model, with the ‘35th Anniversary‘ special edition decals nicely complimenting the tinted windows, with the look finished off perfectly with the dark silver alloy wheels. This twin-axle caravan really does look the part.
From the front of the caravan, we have the ‘L-shaped’ lounge area, with the usual ‘drop window’ providing a feel of great space when added to the surrounding windows and large overhead-skylight. The chocolate brown upholstery is continued throughout the van, with the mid-wood floor providing a homely feel. There is a CD player above with a wall-mounted TV bracket also available to provide the entertainment, with a large wardrobe providing space to hang those weekend outfits. This area is where the Alde Heating control system. This area can be converted to a large double bed to provide the first of our sleeping areas
Moving further back, we have the large side-kitchen area. Fully stocked, there is room for a full oven and hob, a sink and a home-sized refrigerator and freezer across the aisle. The kitchen worktop is finished with a nice, thick wooden veneer providing a feeling of luxury and tying in the colour scheme of the rest of the van. There is also plenty of storage space around the kitchen for all of the pots and pans, with a microwave stored away overhead for those quick dinners.
To the rear of the van is where the versatility is really shown. The end-lounge area provides plenty of space for the family to relax and is finished in the same chocolate upholstery as the front area. With multiple options for this area, it can be a lounge and dining area (thanks to the removable table), or it can be set up as a permanent sleeping area if required. You can have twin-single beds across the aisle, with bunk-beds on hand to fold out if required, or it can also be converted to one large bed taking up the full width of the van (with the bunk beds also able to fold out over the bed in this layout too). The versatility of this area ensures the Super Storm remains a very popular choice for all.
Finally we have the side-bathroom area. Again, there is plenty of space in here, with a W/C and sink as well as a large, separate shower with a sliding glass door. There is even a wall-mounted, heated, towel rail for keeping the towels warm.
A very well looked after example of this particular model, pictures don’t really do it justice, with the Elddis looking as modern as it did the day it came out of the factory.
